Is Maintenance Required?

• YES. Annual maintenance is required by the manufacturer’s limited
• warranty and labor protection plans to cover these warrantable
• repairs. Routine maintenance is critical to keeping your system(s)
• healthy and running smooth each year.

What's Covered by your Manufacturer Warranty:

• Generally, it covers:
  Parts: Typically, 10 years for parts. Some key components like heat exchangers may have a longer warranty.
  Compressor: This usually has a 10-year warranty as well.

Manufacturer Warranty Limitations:

• Registration Requirement: To get the full warranty length, you must register your Carrier product within 90 days of installation. Otherwise, the warranty coverage period starts from the manufacturing date (which can be less coverage).
• Labor Costs: Carrier's warranty typically doesn't cover labor costs for repairs. You'll need to pay the technician separately for their time.
• Incidentals: Refrigerant, travel charges, and other incidental costs are not included.
